Overview
BulkListingPro is a Chrome extension that automates Etsy listing creation. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
Data We Collect
- Google account email and name — used for authentication via Google OAuth. We receive your email and display name when you sign in.
- Credit balance and usage counts — tracked on our backend to manage your credit-based account.
- Payment information — processed entirely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or payment details.
Data We Do NOT Collect
- Etsy login credentials (you log into Etsy yourself)
- Listing content (titles, descriptions, images)
- Local file paths or file contents
- Browsing history
- Personal data beyond what is listed above
How Your Data Is Used
- Authentication — your Google email identifies your account so we can track your credit balance.
- Credit management — we record how many credits you purchase and use so you are billed correctly.
- Support — if you contact us, we may use your email to respond.
Third-Party Services
- Google OAuth — handles sign-in. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Stripe — processes payments. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
- Firebase — stores your account data (email, credit balance). Subject to Firebase's Privacy Policy.
Local Storage
The extension uses Chrome's local storage to save:
- User preferences (e.g., default listing settings)
- Cached credit balance (for offline display)
- Authentication tokens (for session persistence)
This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to external servers, except authentication tokens sent to our backend API for verification.
Native Host Application
BulkListingPro includes an optional local helper application (Native Host) that runs on your computer. The Native Host:
- Reads spreadsheet files from your local disk to parse listing data
- Connects to your browser via Chrome DevTools Protocol (CDP) to automate listing creation
- Does not send any data to external servers other than the BulkListingPro backend API for authentication and credit verification
Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties, except as required to provide the service (Stripe for payments, Firebase for storage) or as required by law.
Data Retention
Your account data is retained as long as you have an active account. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.
Your Rights
You may:
- Request access to your stored data
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Uninstall the extension at any time, which removes all local storage
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
