Etsy takes a combined 6.5% transaction fee plus a 3% + $0.25 payment processing fee on every sale. Together with the $0.20 listing fee, the effective percentage ranges from about 10% on higher-priced items to 14% on lower-priced items. The fixed costs ($0.20 listing fee and $0.25 processing fee) have a bigger impact on cheaper products.
For most sellers, Etsy takes between 10–14% of each sale in combined fees. On a typical $25 sale, you'd pay about $2.83 in fees and keep $22.17. The three mandatory fees are: the $0.20 listing fee (charged upfront when you publish), the 6.5% transaction fee (charged when you sell), and the payment processing fee of 3% + $0.25 (charged when the payment is processed).
